traits: There's nothing visually different about her. She appears to be a completely average thirteen year old girl.

over all: Cara is on the small side, being naturally petite. As she is a naturally small build, nobody has really noticed that she's losing weight, and she often wears baggy sweatshirts to cover up her frame anyway. Cara usually keeps her hair down, not wanting to put it up, and her sideswept bangs are clipped back so that they don't impede her vision. Her most striking feature has to be her brown eyes, big and doe-like, they almost always have a hint of fear in them if one looks closely enough, of course, few people ever do.

[-] not really in touch with her feelings-she deprives herself of food because she's lonely, and hopes she'll be accepted once she finds herself pretty enough to be associated with in a positive way, but she only calls it "feeling fat"

history: Cara was born on February 12th 1998 to Helen and Robin Taylor. She already had an older sister named Cheyanne, and from the very beginning, Cara looked up to her, calling her "Annie" and idolizing her. Her younger brother Thomas (Tom) came along later, and Cara was quickly reduced from the youngest, the "baby" of the family, to the "middle child". Like most middle children, this would have an effect on her life that would be lasting. After Cheyanne went to school, Cara was given the role of "honorary eldest child", however she still missed her sister, and was rather confused by her mixed feelings.

When she arrived at school, she was quickly noted by her teachers to be "Not as smart, not as attractive, not extraordinary like Cheyanne" This didn't really bother Cara too much, and when Tom followed the next year, she clung to both of her siblings as the teachers measured them up against one another. When Cara hit the age of nine, Cheyanne suddenly left for the hospital, and confused, Cara felt hurt. She was given the role of "Good middle child", as Tom was a mischievous person, getting into trouble with his teachers and not wanting to do work and being lazy. She was "the good one" but ignored as well. While the other two Taylor children were reprimanded and cared for as if they were five year old children, Cara was left to the school kids- who bullied her relentlessly.

Cara never told anybody about the bullying- and when Annie came back to school when Cara was twelve, the bullying got worse, and Cara hated the fact that her sister had changed into someone completely different. Annie seemed so preoccupied with not having a relapse, she didn't have time for her little sister anymore- it was as bad as when Annie did have an eating disorder. Cara was bullied for the way her sister had been "attention seeking" according to the teachers and the kids in her grade, and feeling completely alone, Cara started to restrict her own food intake and exercise instead of hanging out with the few friends she did have- in the hopes that she'd one day be as pretty as Annie- pretty enough to gain her teachers, her parents, her classmates, and her siblings approval.

major: Cara is considering a modeling job as she gets older. Her friends told her that it would help her with her confidence and that she WAS pretty enough to be a model. (Though Cara doesn't believe that at all.)
anything else?: She's afraid that she is unloveable, and as a result, she is starting a dangerous love-hate relationship with food and an eating disorder.

rp sample: Carena felt herself starting to shake as she walked into the classroom. She was the first student there, so that was a relief, and with the teacher there as well, she wouldn't have to deal with any remarks about her sister; at least this morning anyway.


She frowned as she realized this meant that the teacher would probably notice her there, and notice that she had been shaking as she stood in the doorway. She scanned the room for her seat, the one in the second row and covered up her frown with an almost-smile as she walked towards it and placed her bag under her desk before sitting.

Good morning she said as she took her books out, and after a pause, she instantly regretted speaking. The teacher probably didn't even notice her anyway, why had she made the move to speak? Cara dug through her backpack and finding a book, took it out and began to read, feeling small, and slightly embarrassed at her out-of character actions.
