traits: She was finally allowed to get her ears pierced over the summer, and she almost always has a smile on her face.
over all: Melody has a very average body type, not too thin, and not chubby, it's normal. Her hair is blonde and thick, usually put up in pigtails or a ponytail- her mother's orders, she HATES having her hair tied back and would rather leave it down. She alternates a lot between jeans and skirts, and she basically wears whatever she first picks out in the morning, although the clothes are never dirty- they can seem a little mismatched, such as a dress and sneakers, or jeans and a dress, she's unpredictable and somehow, the outfit seems to work anyway.

mother: Helen Jane Asina-Principal of the school.
father: unknown-he ran off after Melody was born, and Helen's (apparently) forgotten his name.
sibling(s): none (that she knows of. She might have half-siblings on her fathers side)
other relatives: John Jacob Asina (uncle)-Helen's brother. Melody calls him Uncle Jingleheimer (from the song John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt) he's an elementary school teacher here.

[-]cheeky/mischievous- she's overly familiar with the teachers because of her mother, and it borders on disrespect at times, also getting her into trouble.

history: Melody was born to Helen Jane Asina on December 1st 2001. She has no idea who her father is, having run off when Melody was born, and when Melody asked she was given a sharp, "ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies" answer by her mother. As a consequence, the only family this child knows is her mother and her uncle.
Since her mother is the principal of the school, Melody has grown up surrounded by the teachers, and considers them to be family, even though Uncle Jingleheimer is the only biological relative she has other than her mother.
She has lived at the school since she was a baby, and attended school since the age of four. Melody often laments on the fact that she is the youngest, but it doesn't stop her from being liked by others. She gets in trouble regularly for her curiosity, and usually ends up in her mothers office, when she isn't in the music studio hoping to record music-often without permission.
major: Melody's major, (which she hopes she'll be able to pursue at a college level someday when she's older) is music- with a heavy focus on vocal music and musical theatre. She loves the feeling of being able to control the voice and the sounds it makes, and she loves getting noticed when she's up on stage.

rp sample: Melody sighed as she followed the teacher to the office. She guessed that she was in trouble for something- it wouldn't be the first time. So she had slipped, accidentally said "Mr. Jingle-Uncle Asina" instead of Mr. Asina. That really wasn't any reason for her to be sent to the office! But when she'd stood her ground he'd threatened to drag her down there by the ear, and she didn't want that. As they reached the office, Melody gulped. Her uncle had probably already told her mother HIS side of the story, and she usually wasn't very forgiving, particularly to Melody who seemed to end up in her office twice a week- at the least. She glanced at the man as he held the door open for her and staring at the floor as she walked in, she muttered I hate you sir, putting emphasis on the word 'sir' as she walked in and took a sideways look at the main desk office, which was inhabited by the secretary.
If she hadn't been there, Melody would've climbed in the vent after her uncle had shut the door, and escaped the office. As it was though, she supposed that she would have to face whatever punishment she was given-and it wouldn't be good. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
