history: Marina Lynn Darling is the first and only child of John Mark Darling and his second wife Lynn Kendall Darling. She was born on June 30th, and although her father's previous wife and his other daughter were not living with them; they had a somewhat second-family relationship. It was common knowledge from the day she was born that she would attend the private school that was in the area, U.C.C, and she has been there since she was in kindergarten.

Her mother died in a car crash when Marina was four; and her father married for a third time. This lady wasn't like the kind ex-wife that Marina knew- in fact, Kayla hated and despised her. She was selfish and a snob; and only cared for herself. She treated Marina as a somewhat menial servant, a punching bag, and an annoyance.

Marina's father died six months ago; and relationships between the family grew even more strained. Her father had left enough money to provide the whole family with a middle-class lifestyle; and working with lawyers and the like, right now there is a bitter struggle with the whole family and sides- Marina is basically forgotten- being the symbol of the wife who is missing- the middle one- long gone and dead. She highly doubts that she's going to get any money, and doesn't really expect any of it either.
major: She would like to major in French, seeing as that's her older stepsister and her mother's first language. She thinks she could do really well in it, as she's heard it spoken quite a bit.
anything else?: Fears Marguerite's death, and the loss of Elodie and Eduardo. Those are the only people who give her security, now that her father has passed.

rp sample: Gwen walked into the room and motioned to the movers who followed her to come in. They were hesitant, but they knew better than to cross Gwen-she wasn't the nicest of people to hired help that she had just met-even with Winston as a baby she'd cried in the car until she was about three months old. By that time, he was about ready to quit as the Woods' chauffeur, now however, he was like a second father to her, only he had a family of his own and never gave her a credit card.

It's all right. she said, calmly at first; after all you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar, at least that was what her teacher at her last school had said. You can put the boxes down here. When the movers started to protest, she rolled her eyes. She supposed it had to do with the fact that it wasn't her name that was on the door, but her room was being set up, and as there was no where else to go-she'd seen the hotel and it was a tacky touristy place downtown, full of homeless people, and drunks, and people that looked as if they'd never eaten lobster in their life. She'd take her chances in here. Even though it was going to be cramped once all of her boxes came in, she was sure that she could manage to squeeze in around here okay.... Yes, she'd rather be here than in that fleabag hotel downtown, where she could get robbed or murdered or worse.

She looked at the men, and watched as they placed the boxes on the desk, underneath the desk, and at the foot of the bed. She sat on the bed, and said Thank you boys, and took out five twenty dollar bills, one for each of the men, and then took out a one hundred dollar bill to pay the moving cost. You've been a big help.

She was annoyed when they stood there, and she snapped, What? You want more? She looked around the room distastefully, and looked up surprised as the movers asked her a question- the name on her door wasn't hers-so who was Alexa Stratford? She looked up and smiled. She's my cousin.
