<div align="justify">LUCY OLIVIA HASTINGSIn about one year you'll have it all figured out These big city dreams are what you're about Walking like strangers among these states Only time will tell how long I can wait
--basics full name: lucy olivia hastings age: eighteen date of birth: january twenty-seventh year: 12th, high school senior occupation: n/a pb: ariana grande
--appearance hair: red, originally medium/dark brown eyes: brown height: five feet four inches weight: one hundred ten pounds traits: ears pierced, flower tattoo on her left shoulder blade over all: Lucy’s hair is cherry red and usually falls a little below her shoulders. She usually wears it down and pin straight, but when she’s feeling lazy she leaves it curly. Her eye color could range anywhere from dark honey colored to a dark chocolate brown, though it’s usually right in between the two. The girl stands at about five foot four at about one hundred and ten pounds. She has never really had a problem with her weight. Lucy is pretty content with her body, but there is always room for improvement. The girl has a wide variety of styles with what she wears. It all depends on her mood. One day she could be wearing a cute skirt with heels and the next she could be wearing a hoodie, skinny jeans and converse.
--history mother: Jillian Hastings father: Marcus Hastings sibling(s): only child other relatives: Anne Dekker (aunt), James Hastings (uncle), Samantha Hastings (aunt), Connor Hastings (cousin) personality: Lucy Hastings is a little bit more than your average eighteen year old girl. She is talented and has loved performing for as long as she can remember, but it’s not in her blood. Her parents are both doctors, which is where her hidden affinity for the sciences comes from. She’s comfortable around people and has no problem approaching people. Being an actress, she can be loud, but she does know when to shut her mouth. Lucy has ADD and she takes medication for it prescribed by her parents. Sometimes before big shows she takes a few extra hoping that it will get her to focus better, a few times she took too much. When she’s off the meds her mind feels all scrambled, like she can’t do anything right, a total wreck. The girl gets stressed out and frustrated quite easily, but it’s her own fault. She likes to keep herself busy with activities like music, dance, singing and acting, though she finds it easier to memorize the words of a song than the steps in a dance routine. As a student, she is average. History is her worst subject because meds or no meds, she just can’t pay attention. English is far from her best subject too seeing as the words can’t seem to stick in her mind unless it was being read out loud. Lucy is alright in math. She doesn’t enjoy it, but words are better than numbers and she is only good at science because her parents made sure of it. history: Lucy Hastings was born eighteen years ago to two doctors by the names of Jillian and Marcus. Their job consumed most of their time, always putting themselves out there to help other people. To keep their daughter safe and out of trouble, they hired a babysitter to occupy her. Little Lucy was a wild child, always doing something that she wasn’t supposed to. The first babysitter was an old lady, a boring lady that just couldn’t keep up with the toddler’s mischief. At the age of five, they found a younger sitter to replace the old one. She was great at keeping the child occupied and happy. They used to watch movies, play games, sing, put on puppet shows and everything that little kids enjoyed. Lucy’s favorite was always dress up. She loved pretending to be other people, getting in character, walking in another person’s shoes. At age six she was diagnosed with ADD. It was a bit of a bumpy ride for everyone, especially trying to get a little kid to take medicine.
At this time Lucy was just starting elementary school. Her grades weren’t so great. One day she would come home with an A, the next she would have an F. At the most inconvenient time for the Hastings, their babysitter decided to go back to college, no longer able to watch after Lucy. That was in the beginning of third grade. Another sitter came after her, not nearly as good as the one before. Fifth grade was when she really started to get into acting and musicals because that was the youngest year that the school allowed. The girl started off with some minor roles in all of the school’s productions. Eventually as she got older, the roles that she received became more prominent. Soon the school plays weren’t enough and she moved on to an outside drama club.
High school was when the girl finally decided to go to an arts centered school. Her parents weren’t too pleased with the idea, but they saw that it was something that Lucy really wanted. UCC was high on her list and they accepted her. Here in her freshman year, babysitters were replaced with tutors and she met Cheyanne who soon became her best friend. They were practically attached at the hip. High school became easier when you had a friendship like the one they had. Lucy helped Anne through her problems, serving as a listener whenever she was needed. During this time the girl went through a few boyfriends though they were all assholes and Anne was the one to point that out. The breakups were usually messy, but the girl expended all of her anger into her acting, pushing herself harder. Her first boyfriend came out of the closet to her, the next was a cheater, the one after that was a complete dick. It just never worked out. At the start of senior year, Lucy took the time to look at what had been directly in front of her the whole time, Anne. Ever since they started dating, Lucy was as happy as ever. There were no complications and everything always ran smoothly. Plus, her girlfriend was her best friend, what could be more perfect than that? major: Musical Theater. She has loved it ever since she was a kid. Her parents are a little disappointed that their only child isn’t interested in a medical career, but they support her nonetheless. anything else?: Lucy already knows that she disappointed her parents, so failing as an actress would make things even worse. She’s also currently dating a girl, which freaked her parents out a little, but they sort of got over that. She has also gotten high off of her ADD medication a few times, both times were completely unintentional.
--the player alias: Spidey years roleplaying: three years rp sample: Losing herself in her thoughts, Nika closed her eyes and let the chilled breeze nip at her exposed skin. She was practically standing there naked, but honestly the girl couldn’t care less. Her balcony faced inward, pointing toward the center of their property. She was pretty sure no one would be snooping around back there. Honestly, their property was so heavily guarded, even though it didn’t seem like it, that she couldn’t imagine how one would even get back there without permission from her father. A hand snaked over her shoulder, but was then followed by a familiar and soothing voice. If it were anyone else other than him, the girl would have probably turned around and punched them square in the nose, but this was Val, her best friend. The two of them grew up side by side and stuck to each other like glue. She moved her cold hands and placed them on top of his, instantly warming them at the touch.
Nika chuckled slightly at his comment. “Oh yes, my lack of clothing. I was definitely preparing for your arrival like this,” a smile spread across her cheeks before she turned around and monkey-hugged him. He was so much taller than her now. She remembered when they stood a mere few inches apart and it seemed like just yesterday. Now she was practically hugging his lower midsection. The girl took a step back and looked him up and down for a minute. Hot damn, she thought in her head. Nika nodded approvingly. “And I suppose you wore your best suit just for me?” a playful smirk appeared on her lips.
The girl took his hand and led him over to her bed and slid in, sitting cross-legged. “You know Mum would flip if I messed up my dress before the grandparents arrive,” Nika spoke smoothly and without hesitation, “You will just have to see it later.” That playful smirk surfaced again. She really liked Val, she honestly loved him. He was the only person she could speak openly around. She couldn’t even compare their conversations with the ones she had with Erinn because she was always afraid that she would take it the wrong way or judge her before she heard the whole story. That happened a lot, which is why they were constantly breaking up. But somehow, something always pulled them back together in the end. The two of them were like opposite ends of a magnet, meanwhile, Val was that shiny gold ring. She was attracted to both.
“So how have you been?” Nika asked. It had been a while since she had seen him last, but oddly, nothing had seemed to change between them. It was almost as if the girl had never left in the first place. That was the thing that proved the strength of their friendship. No matter how far away they were from each other and how much time they had spent away, they would still be the same people when they were united. She had heard that Val had spent some time in Amsterdam recently, which was likely the reason why he wasn’t home two nights ago. It sounded like a lot of fun there. Plenty of drugs and booze, Nika wouldn’t mind going there with him someday. </div>
